TVK Leads in Over 100 Seats
The most recent polls reveal TVK ahead in the 108th seat and AIADMK+ in 75, while that of the ruling DMK+ has just 51 seats, which is a shocking turn for a party that was predicted by exit polls to win back power easily. With the majority mark sitting at 118, Tamil Nadu is heading toward one of the most unpredictable decisions in recent times.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Winning in Both Constituencies
Thalapathy Vijay’s himself has given an impressive personal performance on his debut. He was a candidate in two constituencies—two of them, Perambur within Chennai, as well as Tiruchirappalli East. It was his first election campaign. For Perambur, Vijay registered a lead of 10,971 votes following five rounds of counting. He won by 7,490 voters in Tiruchirappalli East, too.
DMK’s Stunning Setback — CM Stalin Under Pressure
