JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card Released Today: Everything You Need to Know About Hall Ticket Download, Exam City, and Exam Day Guidelines

The wait is over for the thousands of engineering students across India. IIT Roorkee is the coordinating institution to conduct JEE Advanced 2026 and has published the admit card (hall ticket) today, May 11, 2026, which is available on its official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The download link was made available on the 11th of May at 11:00 AM IST, and applicants have access to the link until 2:30 PM IST on May 17th, 2026, which is the day they take the test.

Candidates who passed JEE Main 2026 and registered for JEE Advanced must download their admit card right away, as there is no way for candidates to be allowed to enter the examination hall unless they have the original and valid copy of their hall ticket.

Important: No Separate City Intimation Slip for JEE Advanced

One of the biggest issues that students face is what is known as the “Exam City Intimation slip. It is crucial to understand: The City Intimation Slip is not available to candidates for JEE Advanced. This document is released by NTA exclusively for JEE Main applicants.

To pass JEE Advanced, the admit card serves as the entire document with all information, including the exam’s allotted city, the exam center’s address, the date, the time, and instructions for reporting. Candidates don’t need to search for a separate city slip—all information is contained within the hall pass.

How to Download JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card — Step-by-Step

Follow these instructions to get your hall pass:

  1. Go to JEE Advanced’s website, the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in
  2. Go to the “Admit Card” link on the homepage
  3. The portal to log in as a candidate will appear on your screen.
  4. Fill in your registration number as well as your date of birth.
  5. Select “Login” or click the “Login” button
  6. The JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card will be displayed on your screen.
  7. Take care to confirm the accuracy of all information regarding your personal and exam.
  8. Download and print a colour version of the admission card

NOTE: IIT Roorkee will not send admit cards via email or post. Candidates are required to download it from the official website only.

What to Carry on JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Day

Candidates are required to bring the following items to the exam center:

Mandatory Documents:

  • A printed duplicate of the JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card
  • Valid Original Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, School ID, Driver’s License, Passport, etc.)

Allowed Items:

  • Pens and pencils
  • Drinking water that is in a transparent glass bottle

Strictly Prohibited Items:

  • Mobile phones, or any other electronic gadgets
  • Calculators
  • Stationery, including rough paper (other other than pencils and pens)
  • Jewelry made of metal, such as earrings, rings or bracelets

Very Important! Candidates will not be permitted to leave the exam hall prior to the end of the examination.

About JEE Advanced 2026

JEE Advanced is regarded as one of the most challenging engineering entrance exams in India and acts as the entry point into undergraduate courses in IITs, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and IISc Bengaluru (through JoSAA counselling).

The year is 2009, and IIT Roorkee has been chosen as the organising institute. The exam will be conducted online. The online (computer-based) manner and will comprise two mandatory papers:

  • Paper 1: 54 Questions—9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Paper 2: 54 Questions — 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The test paper is based on physics, chemistry, and mathematics and is based on the current syllabus.
