The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results of the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) exams for 2026. which brought joy and relief to a multitude of students across all of Bihar.
Class 12 Intermediate Results
The Bihar School Examination Board declared the results of Class 12 Intermediate on March 23rd, with the education minister, Sunil Kumar, making the formal announcement at 1:45 p.m. Intermediate exams were held in 1,762 locations, which saw a total of 1,317,846 students taking the examinations that were conducted between February 2 and February 13.
In the end, girls topped boys, registering an average of 86.23 percent, compared with 84.09 percent for males. Nishu Kumari was the top performer in the arts stream, scoring 95.8 percent, and Aditya Prakash Aman was the top performer in the science stream, scoring a staggering 96.20 percent.
Bihar School Examination Board: It is noted that results for the Class 12 results were released within 25 days after the commencement of the evaluation process on the morning of the 13th, the day after the evaluation was completed, demonstrating the Board’s commitment to prompt results declaration.
Class 10 Matric Results
The Bihar School Examination Board declared the Class 10 matric results on the 29th of March 2026. It had an overall percentage of 81.79 percent. In total, of 1,510,928 students who took the test, 1,235,743 students passed.
Boys scored a pass rate in the range of 82.82 percent, and girls had 80.82 percent. For academic divisions, 4,437,230 students were placed in the first division, 4,755,511 ascended to the second division, and 3,031,030 were placed in the third division.
This year’s top scorers are Pushpanjali Kumari and Sabrin Parveen. They jointly took the top spot on the Bihar Board Class 10 examination with 492 marks out of 500. This translates to 98.4 percent. Nahid Sultana clinched second place with 489 marks. Anupa Kumari and Om Kumar tied for the third spot in the third position with 488 marks.
There are 139 pupils who are listed on this year’s Top 10 list, and some of them are students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya.
How to Check Results of the Bihar School Examination Board
Students can check and download their mark sheets from the official website at results.biharboardonline.com by entering their roll code and roll number. After submission, the results are displayed on the screen and is available to download and print to use for future reference. Results are also available via DigiLocker by using an account with a mobile number that is registered.
Compartmental Examinations
Students who fail one or two of the subjects will have another chance by taking compartment exams. The exam schedule for compartments will be announced after the results announcement, with the results expected in May, which will allow students to pass the exam without having to wait until the next academic year.
