How Did CBSE Prepare the 2027 Datesheet?
CBSE has considered several important factors while preparing the examination timetable.
The Board examined more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that students do not face clashes between examinations for subjects they have selected.
Adequate gaps have also been provided between commonly chosen subjects to help students prepare effectively.
Additionally, CBSE considered the tentative schedules of major entrance examinations so that Class 12 students can plan their preparations for competitive examinations after completing their board papers.
The availability of examination centres, the number of candidates and teachers’ evaluation responsibilities were also considered while preparing the final schedule.
CBSE Practical Exams 2027: Important Information
Apart from the theory examinations, CBSE has also announced the schedule for practical examinations and internal assessments.
For schools across India and abroad, practical examinations and internal assessments for the 2026-27 academic session are scheduled from January 1 to February 13, 2027.
However, practical examinations for winter-bound schools will be conducted earlier, from November 9 to December 19, 2026.
