The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the results of the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination are expected to be announced by July 20. While the agency has not specified an exact date, officials have stated that the evaluation process is being carried out on a priority basis to ensure that students receive their results as early as possible.
The announcement has brought relief to thousands of medical aspirants who have been eagerly waiting for the revised results after appearing for the re-examination.
Re-NEET Conducted Following Earlier Examination Issues
The Re-NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted after authorities decided to hold a fresh test for eligible candidates following issues related to the original examination.

Officials have clarified that the counselling process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses will begin soon after the results are declared. The agency stated that there will be no delay in the commencement of the academic session due to the re-examination.
How Students Can Check Their Results
After the results are declared, candidates will be able to download their scorecards by visiting the official NEET website.
Students will need to log in using their application number, date of birth, and security credentials. The scorecard will include the candidate’s marks, percentile, All India Rank, category rank, and qualifying status.
Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the scorecard for use during the counselling and admission process.
Counselling Process to Begin Soon
Once the results are announced, the Medical Counselling Committee and state counselling authorities are expected to begin the admission process.
Eligible candidates will participate in counselling for seats under the All India Quota, state quota, central universities, deemed universities, and other participating institutions.
Students should regularly check official counselling websites for updates regarding registration dates, seat allotment, and document verification.
