PSEB 10th Result: The wait is over for the thousands of students in Punjab. It was announced that the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released its Class 10 (Matriculation) Results 2026 on the 11th of May, and the results were announced at pseb.ac.in. The results were officially announced at 12:30 pm. Students can access their PSEB 10th results when they enter their roll number into the login page through the PSEB official site.
PSEB 10th Result 2026 — Key Highlights at a Glance
The total number of students who took this year’s PSEB 10th Class 10 Examination, 2026. Exam 2026. Of these, 2,54,744 students passed the exam and pushed the overall passing rate to 94.52 per cent.
It was reported that the PSEB Class 10 board exams were held from March 6 through April 1st, 2026. The result was announced a little earlier than the previous year. Last year, the PSEB 10th exam result was released on May 16; however, this year, it was announced on May 11, around 12:40 pm.
State Topper 2026—Harleen Sharma Shines Bright
The Punjab School Education Board declared the Class 10 matriculation exam results on Monday. Harleen Sharma crowned the state’s top performer with 646 of 650 points, scoring an astounding 99.38 per cent.
Manimahesh Sharma from Government Senior Secondary School and Satnam Singh from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School achieved the third and second positions, respectively, scoring 645 marks each (99.23 per cent).
The Chairman of the Board, Chairperson Dr Amarpal Singh, congratulated students and stated that their hard work and determination have opened the doors to a brighter future.
Girls Outshine Boys—Again
In what is now an ongoing trend, the girls once more beat their male counterparts during their PSEB Class 10 tests. The average pass rate for girls was 66.35 per cent, significantly more than the 54.19 per cent achieved by males.
School-Type Performance: Private vs Government
The results also revealed an evident gap in performance between the different school types. Non-government schools scored the highest pass rate of 95.97 percent, with 69,237 students getting through out of 72,147 applicants who took the test. For comparison, public schools had a pass rate of 94.45 per cent, with 1,685,593 students passing the test from 1,78,498 applicants.
District-Wise Performance
District-wise, Amritsar tops the list with an overall pass rate of 98.41 per cent, closely followed by Ferozepur, which is 98.39 per cent, and Pathankot, with 97.99 per cent. However, Ludhiana was the one with the lowest pass percentage, 89.20 per cent, and was then followed by Sri Muktsar Sahib at 90.46 percent in addition to Malerkotla at 92.15 per cent. Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) was ranked 10th within the state’s 23 districts, with an average pass rate of 95.26 percent.
How to Check PSEB 10th Result 2026
Students can access and download mark sheets from Punjab Board Class 10 mark sheets using their roll numbers. It is as follows:

- Go to the “Results” tab on the home page.
- Click on the link that says “Matriculation Examination Result March 2026”
- Enter the name or roll number as stated in the Punjab Board 10th admit card
- Hit “Submit” to open and save the PSEB Class 10 provisional marksheet
Students can also access their Punjab Board 10th marksheets through DigiLocker.
For students who are not able to access their scores on the official site due to the volume of traffic, results can be verified via DigiLocker or SMS.
What’s Next—Rechecking & Compartment Exams
Students unhappy about their scores can take redressal options. PSEB 10th Rechecking/Revaluation Dates 2026 have been announced after the Punjab Board Class 10 result declaration on May 11. Students can view the dates for application, fees, and the process on the internet.
It is expected that the PSEB 10th section exam for 2026 will be held in July 2026. This will give students who did not pass the test a second chance to pass.
PSEB 10th Result Passing Criteria
PSEB 10th pass marks include 33% for all subjects and overall. Students must score this in both the practical and theory exams.
