Karnataka SSLC Result 2026 Declared: Historic 94.10% Pass Rate, 7 Students Score Perfect 625

Karnataka SSLC Result 2026 Declared -A landmark achievement for the Karnataka school education program and this year’s Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has achieved an historic performance during the SSLC exams this year, with the impressive score of 94.10 percent. The results were announced on April 23rd around 12 noon.

Results Declared Today

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced the SSLC Exam-1 result at 12 p.m. on the 23rd of April 2026. Karnataka School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced that the Karnataka SSLC (Class 10th) 2026 exam results at the press conference at the headquarters of the board in Bengaluru The board also announced the full board exam results details, as well as details of the SSLC Merit List Toppers Names District-wise, the results for each district and the overall percentage of passing.

Key Highlights at a Glance

The total number of students were registered for the test, comprising the 4,44,172 boys and 4,218,816 girls. Exams were conducted in 2,870 centers. Of the students who registered 7,70,209 students took the examinations. Of them, 7,24,794 were successful in passing, which was the highest ever performance for the entire state.

The state has posted such an impressive score at first. In 2025, overall pass rate was 62.34 percent — more than 11% lower than in 2024, where the pass rate was 73.40 percent.

Perfect Scorers — 7 Students Achieve 625/625

Seven students have achieved 100 scores, i.e. 625 of the total 625 marks scored in 2026’s Karnataka 10th board exam and are ranked among the top. In 2025, the total number of the toppers were 25.

The top performers this year are:

Brinda who is from Chikkamagaluru St. Mary’s High School, Dhanush Sudhir from Mysuru or Bengaluru’s North Poorna Prajna Education Centre (Sadashivanagar), Preetham Poojari from Kundapura Mother Theresa Memorial School (Shankarnarayana), Soujanya from Vijayapura Oxford English Medium School (Muddebihal) and Sukhdev who is from the Raichur B.V.R English Medium School (Manvi).

District-Wise Performance

district-wise Dakshina Kannada was able to secure the highest ranking and was followed by Udupi and Kalaburagi. Kalaburagi was the one with the lowest marks. One of the highlights this year is the fact that rural students have performed better than their urban counterparts and show a significant change in the academic performance of students.

Third Language Performance

Performance in the third-language subject was also noteworthy. Seventeen,751 students took part, and 7,58,623 passed the exam which resulted in a pass percent of 98.55 percent.

New Passing Criteria for 2026

The Karnataka government has lowered the pass marks for the academic 2025-26 year. Students need to have at least 33% aggregate overall (combining internal assessment as well as external examination), i.e. at minimum 206 marks out of 625 and a minimum of 30percent on each topic. Third language marks aren’t included in the total score for passing or failing (grading only, no appearance required).

Exam Schedule

The exams for the Karnataka SSLC were held from March 18 to April 2. KSEEB has rescheduled for the Karnataka SSLC 2026 third language exam for March 30 and March 31 because of the Mahavir Jayanti celebration. C

Exam 2 exam and Exam-3 outcomes will be announced on June 20, 2026, and in July 2026, respectively. Students who fail Exam 1 are able to be able to take it again in Exam 2. Exam 3.

How to Check Your Result

Students are able to access their grades via a variety of ways:

  1. Official websites: karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, or sslc.karnataka.gov.in
  2. DigiLocker: Students can download their Karnataka Board Class 10 Marksheet 2026 from DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in by logging in with the Aadhaar Card number.
  3. SMS In order to check the results by SMS, students need to input the KAR10 (space) Roll Number and then forward an official SMS to this number.
  4. KarnatakaOne App: Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  5. WhatsApp: As according to accounts, KSEAB 10-th exam results were also sent out via WhatsApp for students.

To access their account online, students have to fill in the identification number as well as their their birth date through the website that they are registered with.

What’s Next for Students?

This Karnataka SSLC scorecard 2026 is required for admission to further courses because it is a proof that you have passed the tests for Class 10 and is required when applying for classes 11 (PUC) or diploma courses, or any other higher-level studies. Students who failed the test may take part in the additional examinations that are scheduled for later in the year.
