Pawan Khera seeks relief amid Himanta Biswa Sarma, chairperson of the AICC department of media and public relations, who has contacted the Telangana High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a matter filed with the Assam police in Guwahati. The case is scheduled to be heard on Thursday, attracting an enormous amount of attention from both the legal and political sides.
The case of Khera is a complex one that includes a variety of charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including dissemination of falsified information and forgery, swindling, and criminal intimidation as well as conspiracy.
