Pallichattambi Trailer: The trailer for Malayalam superstar Tovino Thomas‘ forthcoming film Pallichattambi Pallichattambi has been released by the filmmakers this weekend (April 5). The film is directed by Dijo Jose Antony. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on April 10.
“He will torch the land until it is destroyed. He will then cut the veins that run through this land one at a time. He is the sovereign, rightful owner of this land,” says a voiceover as we are dragged into a historical tale that takes place in the 1950s and the ’60s. In the meantime, the pastor in charge of the Kunnumpuram church Kunnumpuram says that the citizens should find the most powerful goon in the area and take him to their village in order to combat the inhumane treatment they face from the authorities.
So we are introduced to the ruffian of the title, actor Tovino, a massive beast who is able to fight a multitude of men simultaneously. In just a few scenes, we get to witness him teach self-defense to the locals as an evil policeman promises to destroy Kunnumpuram. In the action-packed trailer, we can expect to be an adrenaline-pumping adventure story that is rooted in the cards.
Pallichattambi Trailer also stars Kayadu Lohar, the actress who made her debut on the screen in Malayalam alongside The Pathonpathaam and Noottandu (2022), produced by Vinayan. She also appeared in the films Oru Jaathi Jaathakam (2025) and The Dragon (2025), with the lead actor Pradeep Ranganathan.
Tijo Tomy is the director of cinematography, while Sreejith Sarang is in charge of editing. Rajesh Menon helms the art direction department. S Suresh Babu has written the screenplay.
