Home Bargains‘ Easter celebration weekend is starting on April 3rd beginning on Friday and continuing until the dawn of the 6th April, 2026. Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays within the United Kingdom; however, Easter Sunday is of the greatest importance for religious purposes and special regulations regarding trade are in effect for big retailers on the day.
Why are shops closed during Easter?
Based on British law, big stores (those with more than 280 square meters in size) situated throughout England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are required to close on Easter Sunday.
